Today’s Thoughts
Monsoon is full blown. Already had 2
rains and another is building up. Nice!
Everyone saw the Republican Candidate for
President speak. There was really no change since the assassination attempt. He
didn’t yell as much, but his message is the same. Those who believe his unique
perception of our country will vote for him. I don’t see the country the way he
does. I don’t want him to be my President.
I had lunch with Faith and Andy. Good
food, great conversation. They will head back to Phx sometime next week.

Phrases used by Old-er People that younger people might not
understand
“The Early Bird Catches
the Worm”
Another popular boomer-era phrase, “the early bird catches
the worm” means those who get an early start to the day will reap benefits. It
harks back to an agricultural society where early risers succeeded and reflects
the boomer generation’s work ethic and drive.
False Facts about religions
All Hindus Believe
in Reincarnation
Hinduism offers many diverse perspectives on life and death. While
reincarnation (the concept of an eternal living soul) is a widespread belief
among Hindus, it isn’t universally recognized in the religion. Some sects focus
on moksha (liberation from bad) rather than the cycle of rebirth (samsara)
after death.
