are in Phoenix and Mike was having the dogs groomed. Mary is heading to Oregon
next week to spend time at the family summer beach house.
Caremark Pharmacy has gotten weird. I
got an email to renew 2 mail order scripts. I did that and got confirmation for
one of them. It arrived. Then today I got a conformation for one I had never
heard of. They said they needed a new script. I was cruising near the Drs.
office, so I stopped in. Caremark to the Drs. office that my med was no longer
available and suggested a generic. They request the generic one. Then cancelled
it and told the Dr. they needed a new script for a similar one. After over an hour on the phone, I still
don’t know which medication I will be getting. Crazy.

Phrases used by Old-er People that younger people might not
understand
“Wig Chop”
Instead
of saying, “It’s time for a haircut,” boomers would often say, “It’s time for a
wig chop!” We don’t quite know why this was, but people in the ‘50s onwards
would use this phrase frequently among friends. Why not bring the
attention-grabbing phrase back and use it yourself next time you need a trim?
False Facts about religions
Jihad Means Holy War
The term ‘jihad’ translates directly to ‘struggle,’ and in Islamic
theology, the highest form of jihad is that of the heart, where followers
strive against Satan and sin in their worship of God. The Qur’an prescribes
constant self-improvement, and, unlike how extremist groups interpret it, holy
wars are only allowed for self-defense purposes.
