Today’s Thoughts
Heat wave continues.
I am all for cheerleaders at rallies
and sporting events. In my opinion, Jill Biden is a great cheerleader for her
husband. However, she went way overboard
just after the debate. She sounded like she was talking to a 6-year-old after
winning a contest.
Trump golf challenge was also over the
top. Does anyone want to see a Biden/Trump
game…even if Trump promises $1 million to Biden’s favorite charity if
Joe wins. It is so childish and non-Presidential…even if was a joke.

Phrases Older People Use that confuse younger ones.
“What’s on the Boob
Tube?”
Back in the ‘50s and ‘60s, people began to call television
the “boob tube.” The tube part of the phrase referred to the giant tubes that
would come out of old-fashioned TVs. According to Merriam-Webster, the
words boob and tube “were combined based on the notion that much of what is
viewed on television is either foolish or geared toward foolish people, also
known as the booboisie.”
False Facts about religions
All Christians
Believe in the Trinity
Although they may be small in number, there are denominations in
Christianity that don’t believe in Trinity (the nontrinitarian). For instance,
the Washington Post narrates how
the Apostolic Pentecostals separated themselves from the concept that God is
manifested in three beings in 1916.
