Today’s Thoughts
I had a good lunch
with Mike, Mary, Andy, and Faith today. Faith and Andy are heading to Tahiti in
early July, Mary is heading to Oregon on the 19th, I’m staying in
Flag and Mike is staying in Phoenix.
RFK didn’t make the
cut off for the debate…no surprise there.
Two US astronauts
are stuck on the space station. Their transportation will arrive sometime next
week…hopefully.
It is smoky here
today and none of us at lunch could figure out where the smoke was coming from.
It is worse on the west side where we had lunch.

Origin of common phrases
Cute
as a bug's ear
"Cute as a bug's ear" was used in the 1800s—and is thought to have
originated in Texas—to describe someone adorable. It may have started out with
the word acute, referring to insects' ability to react quickly. It's often
shortened to cute as a bug.
