Today’s Quote                                                        Today’s Meme

"One benefit of Summer was that each day we had more light to read by."

Today’s Thoughts

Windy and warm today.

I went to Wal-Mart to pick up household items.  The store was not crowded. I found everything I needed and headed to the checkout. They had ONE normal check out with 4 carts in front of me. The self-checkout was worse. They only had 4 checkouts open and there were also 4 people in front of me. One of the families was teaching a 5-year-old how to do self-checkout. I finally got to an open register. My total was a tad over $100. When I left the child was still learning how to do checkout after the watcher had to check the cart at least 3 times for unrecognized items in the bags. With all this hassle I still saved a few bucks.

Now I am home, hoping the wind and dry conditions don’t start a forest fire.
