Thoughts for the day

Finished the readings for our discussion group. These international treaties to protect our oceans and therefore our planet are extremely complicated. Every nation seems more and more determined to keep their power, rather than saving the oceans. It should be a good discussion.

Yesterday afternoon I headed to the west side of town for a little shopping. When I finished, I got onto I-40 to get home quickly. About halfway home my dashboard went crazy and alarms. I had a low tire. I pulled over to check it. It was a little low and still had 23lbs. I drove the mile to Little America Truck Stop for air. In that short time, I now had 10lbs of pressure. I could see the nail in the tread of the tire. I pumped the tire to 40lbs and continued toward Discount Tire, another mile away. At Discount tire I was back to 10lbs. I’ve been a customer of Discount for decades, but these were the vehicle’s original tires. It took about an hour, but they pulled out the nail, put a plug in the hole and sealed the tire. And now for the best part, no charge. That is loyal customer service.

 Riddles

David’s parents have three sons: Snap, Crackle, and who?

Riddles Answer

The people who have the three sons are David's parents, so David himself is the first son, and Snap and Crackle are the two others. The wording on this one can be a little tricky if you aren't paying attention from the very beginning, but that's what riddles are all about.
