Today’s Quote                                                        Today’s Meme

"You do not find the happy life. You make it."

— Thomas S. Monson

Today’s Thoughts

A Red Flag warning takes some of the enjoyment out of today.

It is a shame that some Universities and Colleges are cancelling their graduation ceremonies.  Many of the grads had their HS graduation ceremonies cancelled due to Covid. Now college too. Just sad.

I wonder if Trump is jailed for his out-of-court comments, will it help or hurt his campaign? In his universe, it could help him more than hurt him. He might be seen as a martyr.

As Putin is sworn in for his 25th year in power, he is contemplating holding tactical nuclear weapons tests. He believes that could help him in Russia as he continues his Ukraine war. Scary times.

I watched the Britany Griner interview last night. She is a very good athlete, but should never have been a world traveler. She admits the whole thing is on her. I’m not sure she should make money on her book deal of the ordeal. Anyone traveling to a foreign country to work should be very aware of the laws of that country.

Did you Know?

 Interesting Facts

Fact: Human beings can use only a small fraction of Earth’s water

In school, we were taught that most (specifically, 71 percent) of the planet’s surface is covered in water. While that’s true, humans can use only 0.007 percent of that water, according to National Geographic. That’s because only about 2.5 percent of Earth’s water is fresh water, and only 1 percent of that is accessible. The rest makes up glaciers and snowfields. By the way, have you ever wondering why we can “smell” snow?
