It’s a very windy day. Batten down the hatches.

Spring always brings wind to our area. Today is the windiest day of this season.

I’m enjoying the day inside. Catching up on mail, cleaning a little.

I’ll be ready to go outside after these high winds stop. At least my current area does not have a problem with sand when it blows.

Fact: A one-way trip on the Trans-Siberian Railway involves crossing 3,901 bridges

Not only is the Trans-Siberian Railway the longest railroad in Russia, but it’s also the longest one in the world. The journey takes seven days, during which time passengers pass through eight different time zones and cross 3,901 bridges.
