Today’s Thoughts
Another warm spring day.
It is Senior Discount Day at Fry’s Grocery, so I headed out to get some bargains.
Successful trip.
It sure looks like Campus leaders should look to Columbia University to
figure out how to end these demonstrations. From the news reports the police
moved in, gave protestors many chances to leave, regained control of the building
with no injuries. As the campus protests spread, I hope it remains as peaceful
as this. The outsiders who do not attend these universities need to be
prosecuted to the fullest extent possible. The various universities need to figure
out how to keep non-students from becoming agitators.

Interesting Facts
Fact: The world’s first animated
feature film was made in Argentina
Even if you know a lot of Disney trivia, you might assume that
the honor of first animated feature film belongs to Walt Disney’s 1937
movie Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. But 20 years earlier, a
full-length animated feature film was made in Argentina. It was a political
satire called El Apóstol made up of 58,000 drawings and had a
running time of 70 minutes, according to the Guinness Book of World
Records.
