Thoughts for the day

Temperatures are getting much cooler, but still a nice day.

I didn’t stay up to watch Jimmy Kimmel last night…actually I never stay up that late. However, I did DVR his show. I am very glad I did. The opening monologue was outstanding. If you missed it, I’m sure it on You tube. It did remind me how the First Amendment is so important. I don’t always agree with things I see in media, however; I know that it is their right to say it.

Charlie Kirk and many others have said that we need to express our thoughts and not be in fear to say them. It has never been said that one has to agree with anything, just, that each of us has the right to say it.

You might remember a diagram from school showing that sweet, salty, sour, and bitter flavors are detected on different parts of the tongue. Turns out, that’s wrong. All taste buds can detect every flavor, though some areas are slightly more sensitive than others.
