Thoughts for the day

It was cool last night. I woke up about 5am and had to find a blanket. I closed the bedroom window this morning.

I did not know very much about Charlie Kirk, the young right-wing guy. I’ve seen a lot about him since his assassination. While I disagree with most of his views, that is no reason to kill him. He did not condone violence but used his words to persuade others to his way of thinking. His speech seems to have converted many young conservatives. Sadly, he is becoming a martyr. I fear that this will lead to more violence. I really hope I am wrong.

I am still amazed at how much better I feel since I started my blood treatments. I have much more energy, my afternoon naps are few and far between, and climbing the stairs is much faster than it used to be. For several months I thought it was just ‘old age’…now I know it was blood disease. Feeling very good.
