Thoughts for the day

I’m still enjoying these nice summer days. I am noting that each day seems a little shorter.

Yesterday, the head of the FBI, Kash Patel, sure failed in his senate hearing by yelling at Dem. Senators. Not a good look for him or for our country. I hope he is more professional at today’s hearing.

The President and First Lady are enjoying all the pomp and circumstance in London. Leaders are learning how to get Trump’s favor for sure.

RIP Robert Redford…thanks for all you did for the film industry, the environment, and the American public.

A few months ago, a radio news personality in Flagstaff was arrested for soliciting  sex with underaged girls. He said he was innocent. He lost his job, spent time in jail, and has now taken a plea-deal that gives him 1+ years in prison, 10 years intensive probation, and having to register as a sex offender for life. That doesn’t sound like innocent to me.

Historic Figures who died too soon…

Anne Frank

Anne Frank's diary remains one of the most powerful voices throughout history. Had Anne Frank survived, she would've become one of the most influential writers and peace advocates of her time.

 Wrong Common Knowledge

A Penny Dropped from a Skyscraper Can Kill Someone

It’s a scary thought, but physics says otherwise. A penny isn’t heavy enough to reach deadly speeds, and air resistance keeps it from becoming a dangerous projectile. It would sting if it hit you, but it definitely wouldn’t be lethal.
