Thoughts for the day

I’m having a nice fall day.

I my readings I learned a bit more about the Dept. of Justice. It’s been in the news and I checked out Wikipedia. This department wasn’t formed until 1789 and the leader (now Attorney General) was in a part-time position. Times have certainly changed. I encourage everyone to check out Wikipedia’s page for the Dept. of Justice.

Back when Trump was a candidate, a man attempted to assassinate Trump on a golf course. The 59-year-old white male represented himself in court. Today a jury found the man guilty of 5 counts. He responded by trying to stab his neck with a pen. Court officials stopped him for injuring himself. When will the craziness stop?

Historic Figures who died too soon…

Hypatia of Alexandria

Hypatia of Alexandria was a genius philosopher and mathematician in Ancient Egypt. Her brutal death did indeed mark a brutal death, a tragic end, to an otherwise unstoppable rising intellectual force.

 Wrong Common Knowledge

Einstein Failed Math

People love to say that Albert Einstein struggled with math, but that’s not true. He was excellent at it from a young age. The myth likely started from a misinterpretation of his school grading system, where a low number was actually a good grade.

Random Thoughts…

Whoever said that nothing is impossible obviously hasn't tried nailing jelly to a tree.

"To truly bake a pie from scratch you must first recreate the universe." -Carl Seagan

Think about it; To survive you don't have to be faster than a bear... Just your fellow campers

You've known your parents your whole life, but they've only known you for a part of theirs.
