Thoughts for the day

Our little town got about 1/2” of rain last night and the incoming clouds suggest more rain today. The rain was due about 3p, but didn’t arrive until about 6pm. It is still greatly appreciated.

The indefinite suspension of Jimmy Kimmel from ABC/Disney has brought a lot of backlash. I don’t watch his show…because it is on late at night. I do enjoy some of the highlights that show up on social media. I see this as the same thing as banning books, which I am against. If you don’t like his show, don’t watch it. If enough people feel the same, the show will be gone.

The nurse who did my phlebotomy was about 30 minutes late. She apologized but had been working over the phone to get another patient the necessary care. I told her it was no problem. I was in and out in about 30 minutes. The port sure makes these phlebotomies much easier and much faster.
