Thoughts for the day
Another very nice September day.
Flagstaff weather: Jun-Aug average temperatures
set at record @ 68.4°. The previous record was 66.6° set in 1981.
I’m enjoying the events at the Paralympics in
Paris. It is still difficult to find them on live TV, but highlights are great.

- Pop
culture reference point: "Gilligan's Island" (1965)
The term
"ribbit" is typically used to imitate the characteristic croaking
sound that a frog makes. Many argue the phrase originated in a 1965 episode of
"Gilligan's
Island," in which actor Mel Blanc voices a character called Ribbit the
Frog. Others claim it was first used in the eighth episode of the "Smothers Brothers Comedy
Hour" in 1967.
