Thoughts for the day
I got a call about 9 this morning. Andy
had fallen had injured a couple of ribs. Faith was at the dentist. He needed me
to take him to ER for a quick checkup. I headed out, but he was in too much
pain to get into my low vehicle. We called 911 and the fire dept. checked him
out and gave me a shot for the pain. Then the ambulance arrived. I followed it
to ER. They were busy. By 11:00 Faith had arrived. Her dentist is just across the
street, so she walked over. By 11:30 they were waiting for someone to read the
Xray. At noon I left to go back and close the garage door and come home. I’m
sure Andy will be fine, after a little healing.
Congress is still playing Kick the can
down the road. Now we go broke in early December. Crazy way to live.
My brother’s place is getting lots of
rain, but no damaging wind from the nearby hurricane. Helene’s outer wind missed
their place by about 50 miles.

From "Galentine's Day" to

trouble-making sibling duo Jean-Ralphio (Ben Schwartz) and Mona-Lisa (Jenny
Slate), who dance through a cemetery after faking the former's death by
singing, "Don't be suspicious!" The clip became popular on TikTok in
2021, with the hashtag #dontbesuspicious racking up over a billion views.
