Thoughts for the day
Another nice day.
Andy called as his phone notified him
that the power was out for about 2 hours last night. I checked on his big freezer
in the garage. All good.
While the Gaza polio vaccination
program has exceeded expectations, much more still needs to be done.
Another school shooting…4 students dead,
9 injured in Georgia. This time the shooter is in custody. This violence must
stop. Trump comments: It is sad, but we must move on. Who can want a President
with so little empathy?

Slang Words…
Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious
- Pop culture reference point: "Mary Poppins"
(1964)
Contrary to popular belief, the word
"supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" existed before it was popularized
in song form in the beloved 1964 Disney film "Mary Poppins." In fact,
upon the movie's release, songwriters Gloria Parker and Barney Young filed a
lawsuit alleging the "Mary Poppins" song violated the copyright of
their song "Supercalafajalistickespeealadojus"
(published in 1949 or 1951).
