Thoughts for the day
The breeze is keeping it cool.
I’ve been a Dodger’s fan since I took 8th graders to the games
on their 8th grade trip. Those days were when Fernando
Valenzuela was the star. Last night I watched game 3 until the 13th
inning. It went 18 innings…that’s like 2 full games…before the Dodgers finally broke
the tie.
I got my COVID booster this morning. No line and only took about 10
minutes to get the shot. Now I’m up-to-date and ready for winter.
I guess it’s time for a talk with my kidney doctor. Their new
notification of appointment needs some real work. I had to answer questions on 5
different screens just to confirm my appointment. It even took me to two
advertisements…one for Ozempic and one for an advertisement for United Health Care.
I am now wondering if I will see more ads when I wait in the room for the
doctor. I don’t want any ads when I am with my doctor.
Animals From Native American Legends And What They
Symbolize
In the stories of a coastal tribe, one animal
might be a powerful friend, but it might also play a trickster or bring
warnings to the plains people.
For example, the bear is seen as strong and wise
in some tribes but as a force of punishment and a teacher of balance in others.
These differences come from thousands of years
of living in different lands, among other plants and animals—all shaping how
each tribe interprets its animal legends and lessons.
Interesting facts…

worldwide, holds the title of the most spoken language in the world. Its
intricate writing system and tonal pronunciation make it a fascinating language
to learn and explore.
Random Thoughts…
I don't know about
you, but a highlight of my childhood was talking into the fan to hear my robot
voice.
The brain is the only body part to name itself.
Characters in books never sneeze unless they’re needed for the story.
You're reading all of these thoughts with the same voice in your head.
