Today’s Quotes

"We can't solve problems using the same thinking
we used when we created them." The
quote highlights Einstein’s belief that problems cannot be solved with the
same mindset that created them. It stresses the need for fresh thinking,
creativity and a shift in perspective when dealing with challenges. Instead
of repeating old methods, it encourages people to question assumptions and
approach situations differently. This idea reflects Einstein’s broader
philosophy that true progress comes from innovative and independent thought. This
quote reflects Einstein’s lifelong emphasis on imagination over rigid
thinking. He believed that progress in science and society requires
questioning existing assumptions rather than repeating old methods. In his
view, true solutions demand a shift in mindset, where creativity and
curiosity lead the way. This
quote highlights that if a problem was created by a certain way of thinking,
it cannot be fixed using that same approach. It encourages stepping away from
old habits and looking at situations with a fresh mindset. Einstein is
essentially pointing out that real solutions require a change in perspective,
not repetition of the past. It underlines the importance of innovation and
flexible thinking in solving challenges. |

Today’s Thoughts
Looking forward to a great May.
I had my dental cleaning this morning…easy peasy. Then he suggested I see
a periodontist due to some bone loss due to age. I will see them next week.
No one asked me, but I do not want the picture of any President on my
passport pages, let alone one put there by a current president. The Passport is good for 10 years and the
longest a President can serve is 8 years. This is crazy.
I’m happy to hear that the longest government shutdown of DHS has ended
after 76 days. The bill still didn’t fund ICE or Border Protection. More partisan
fighting ahead, most of which will forget about everyday living conditions of
Americans.
The Epstein Files have certainly changed the lives of many. We keep
learning more about entertainers who were involved in the mess at the island.
The latest two are David Copperfield and David Blaine. I enjoyed Copperfield
much more than Blaine, who I found to be a little creepy. From their mentions
in the Epstein Files, they were both creepy, weird, and not someone to emulate.
I am now wondering how I can enjoy either one, knowing of their escapades with
young girls. That will be a discussion for another day.
Interesting Trivia
Dancing
in the Dark
To
many of us, the tango comes across as one of the classiest and most elegant
styles of ballroom dancing. I mean, if you're anything like me, the name itself
conjures up an image of two dark and glamorous strangers pulling graceful moves
in a dimly-lit, exotic club. But the origins of the dance are not exactly
classy.
In
the early days, the tango was often used by Argentinian intimacy-industry
professionals to seduce men into becoming clients.
Bear-ly
Succeeding
The
Polish army adopted a bear named Wojtek during WWII and gave it the official
rank of private so that it could be transported around from place to place with
them, carrying their equipment and helping to boost morale. Following a few
years spent alongside humans, Wojtek grew to love indulging in certain
beverages, enjoying wrestling, and partaking in smoke-related activities.
In
fact, the army loved Wojtek so much that he was eventually promoted to
corporal

Native American Courage in History
The Battle Of Little Bighorn And the
Defiance Of Custer
In 1876, Native American warriors from
the Lakota, Cheyenne, and Arapaho tribes decisively defeated General Custer’s
forces at Little Bighorn. The remarkable victory attested to Native strategic
prowess and unity and symbolized the fierce resistance against U.S. army
expansion during the Plains Wars.
