Thoughts for
the day
Controlled burns continue. A little less smoke than yesterday.
I had lunch with Andy and Faith at Wildflower Bakery. Great food and
great conversation. Faith is busy with
her Holiday crafting. She is so creative. Andy has been busy helping out his
relatives. Mary and Mike are still down in Phoenix, enjoying their time there.
Looking forward to tonight’s Bronco game.
Animals From Native American Legends
And What They Symbolize
Deer
Deer teach gentleness, watchfulness, and quiet
strength. Their appearance in stories often signals a need for kindness,
careful listening, or peaceful solutions to conflict.
In some tales, deer help souls travel safely to
the next world. In others, they remind people to move through life with care
and alertness, showing that true power can come from being aware, graceful, and
choosing calm paths.
Boomers Were Forced to Memorize These
Facts—And They’re All Useless Now…
Humans Only Use 10% of Their Brains
This one was repeated so often that it seemed
like a scientific fact. Teachers swore we had all this untapped brain potential
just waiting to be unlocked. But neuroscientists have thoroughly debunked this
myth—our brains are constantly active, and every part has a function. If we
truly only used 10%, brain damage wouldn’t be nearly as devastating as it is.
So much for all those daydreams about unlocking superhuman intelligence.
Random Thoughts…
Maybe urinals were invented when a tall guy
walked by the sinks and asked, “Why not?”
Turtles can never have sleepovers because they
always sleep at home.
The object of golf is to play the least amount
of golf.
Watching a graduation ceremony
is like sitting through a movie that’s entirely end credits.
