The monsoon has arrived
with a whimper. A couple of light showers that only lasted a few minutes…the
street didn’t even get totally wet. All moisture is appreciated.
Still waiting for the Sunday
match between Spain and Argentina at the World Cup. Hoping for a great match.
Andy called this
morning and postponed our lunch. They have a busy day ahead with Andy’s older
sister and won’t have time for our lunch today. It’s all good, they have been a
lifesaver during my illness.
I am moving around the downstairs
without a cane. I’m a little slow, but improving every day.
I’m awaiting my Walmart
groceries and a couple of items from Amazon Prime today. I’m getting a new
office chair. The current one is about 20 years old and is a secretary chair
with no armrests. I old office chair was dumped…one wheel was broken, when the
big cleanup happened while I was not home.

to hang out dates back as far as 1846, while as a noun,
