Today’s Thoughts

Nice to have a rainy spring day…with a little snow this morning to keep us on our toes.

I had a good lunch with Mary & Mike. With the rain and clouds, we all had a late pancake breakfast. Very good conversation and food. Andy & Faith are down in Phx.

AZ House finally passed a bill to stop the 1864 abortion law. Big question is Will the Senate follow through?

Simultaneous Supreme Court Hearing and Hush Money trial. Neither allows cameras so CNN did a split screen with SC and dialog only on the Hush money. I tried to watch but it was just too much to keep up with.

Did you Know?

Fact: Dead skin cells are a main ingredient in household dust

Here’s an interesting science fact for you: According to researchers at Imperial College London, humans shed around 200 million skin cells each hour—and they have to go somewhere when we’re indoors. If the idea of skin dust isn’t sitting well with you, you should know that a report from the American Chemical Society found that a skin oil called squalene naturally helps reduce indoor ozone levels by up to 15 percent.

61 – Jet Li, Chinese-Singaporean martial artist and actor

“I wish heroes didn’t exist. Whenever we need a hero, it’s because there’s a problem that needs to be solved; it’s because two groups of people, or two countries, are hurting one another, so a hero is needed to save us. If everyone were at peace if everyone were happy, why would we need heroes? The world is better off without heroes.”
