‡‡My
Rambling Thoughts‡‡
SPRING
here always means WIND and RED FLAG WARNINGS. The wind dries things out and
with the low humidity leads to fires or the fear of fires. Not a great time
around here.
My
eye is still healing.
Got
a call last night that my traveling buddy/friend had misplaced his shuttle
ticket while in Costa Rica. He was getting all confused about it and so they
called me. I got ahold of his daughter and she is picking him up at the airport
tonight when the group gets in to Denver at 11:30pm. I’m glad I could help out
Focus and Bob and his family. The hard
part is that at 87, Bob is just not going to be able to travel anymore. That
will be tough. He has been falling. He gets confused more and more. His
daughter told me that she was showing him pics from our trip last year to
France and he didn’t recognize most of the pictures. Sad for all who know and
care about him.
THIS IS NOT NORMAL:
On
Flynn…the White House doesn’t have information on his phone calls during the
transition. Yeah, right. How dumb do they think others are?
And
now we are having trade problems with Canada…over timber…for US houses.

‡‡ Joke
For The Day‡‡
A
couple decided to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary by hosting a big
party.
The
wife was excited and asked her husband what he thought was the bond that kept
them together throughout the years.
His
reply, “Our marriage certificate, dear.”

‡‡Yep,
It Really Happened‡‡
*-
Be Careful Who You Pay to Have Sex With You -*
Who would have thought you can't trust a sex worker you found online! A
prostitute who provided dominatrix services to men, is in trouble after
recording a married client and sending the videos to his wife, according to
police in Connecticut. The Connecticut State Police said that they have
arrested 35-year-old Fatin Ann Ward after recording the 69-year-old man without
his consent and threatening to send the videos to his children. According to
the police investigation, Ward is a convicted sex offender and a registered sex
offender after being convicted of a sex crime with a minor. The victim
responded to an ad on a website where Ward called herself "Mistresses
Teenie." She promised dominatrix services, and the victim agreed to meet
her at her home. Once at her home, the victim paid her $150 and had sex with
the 5 feet 6 inches tall, 216-pound woman. Ward recorded him and then
threatened to tell his wife about his love for black women unless he paid her
more than $5,000. The victim paid her some of the money, but she still sent the
videos to his wife. When Ward threatened to send the videos to the victim's
children, he called the police. Ward has been charged with second-degree
larceny, voyeurism with malice and disseminating voyeuristic materials.

‡‡Somewhat
Useless Information‡‡
Before
he introduced hypnotism in 1775, Franz Mesmer tried to heal patients by having
them swallow a drink with tiny grains of iron and then moving magnets over
their bodies to sway the magnetic currents. When he realized people were
reacting to his performance, he stopped using magnets and relied on the effect
of his own voice.
***
The first recorded use of hypnosis as anesthesia took place in the 19th
century. Dr. James Esdaile, a Scottish surgeon working in India, used hypnosis
successfully in hundreds of limb amputations.
***
People with the best imaginations are the easiest to hypnotize. Hypnosis
researcher Theodore Sarbin calls hypnosis "believed-in imaginings."

Cat
on "Victorious"
Before
pop sensation Ariana Grande crashed the Billboard charts with powerful vocals
often compared to Mariah Carey's, she landed the role of Cat on Nickelodeon's
"Victorious." As soon as this kid's show went off the air in 2012,
Grande's character Cat emerged in a mashed-up "Victorious" and
"iCarly" spinoff, also starring Jennette McCurdy, called "Sam
& Cat." Nearly 35 episodes later, the show came to an end in 2014, and
Grande's singing career skyrocketed when her single "The Way" went
triple platinum. Source: Biography.com.

All ‘data’ info is from the internet sites and is usually checked with
at least one other source, but I have learned that every site contains mistakes
and sadly once the information is out there, many sites simply copy it and is
therefore difficult to verify. Also for events occurring before the Gregorian
calendar was adopted [1582] the dates may not be totally accurate.
