Thoughts
for the day
Another record setting day here. No
complaints, I’m enjoying this weather.
It was a good football weekend:
Broncos beat Raiders, Cards beat 49er’s by 1.
Getting ready for my week vacation in
Mexico. I leave next Monday. Did I mention the shuttle picks me up at 2:40AM. I
know it will be a great adventure.
I am still dealing with the death of
my friend from Tuba. Now I learn there is a police investigation and funeral
plans are on hold. I sure hope there was no crime involved.

American Facts…
The Navajo Nation Is Larger
Than 10 U.S. States
The Navajo Nation, located in
the Four Corners region of the southwestern United States, is the largest
Native American reservation in the country. Spanning over 27,000 square miles,
the Navajo Nation is larger than the states of Massachusetts, New Hampshire,
and New Jersey combined.
This vast territory is home to
over 300,000 Navajo people, who have maintained their language, traditions, and
way of life despite centuries of challenges.
The Navajo Nation has its own
government, laws, and public services, making it a nation within a nation. This
unique status is a testament to the resilience and determination of the Navajo
people to preserve their culture and autonomy.
