‡‡My Rambling Thoughts‡‡
Finally a warm, non-windy day so I could wash the outside windows.  Amazing how much dirt collects following snow or rain. I can see clearly now for miles and miles…well at least a few hundred yards…due to buildings and trees. Also washed the sheers I have on the back patio door. In the past I have taken out the upstairs sliding windows and reached out to clear the non-sliding outside window. This year I just used a hose and high impact nozzle. Much easier and just as clean. I had to buy a 100’ hose to do the master bedroom in the back and the patio door. Next purchase will be one of those hose reel carts with wheels so I don’t have to untangle all that hose again.  I have an evergreen bush in front of my front window. Decided I would spray it to get rid of the cobwebs in it. Bad idea, but I did learn. Besides of getting rid of the cobwebs I also found that there are lots of gnats in the damn bush that don’t like being suddenly soaked.

My eye thing is pretty much healed. The swelling is gone, redness still there. One more antibiotic to take and a little more medication to put in the eye. If I run out of the eye med I will go back if it is still red. It has been a long 10 days to deal with this. Thankfully it has not bothered my eyesight…just what other people see when they look at me.

Last week our police station was broken into and the commode was stolen from the rest room.

Yesterday the police reported that the investigation is ongoing but they still have nothing to go on.

‡‡Yep, It Really Happened‡‡
*--------------- Xylophone Rage ---------------*

Let's face it; there are some things that are just annoying as hell. Xylophones are one of them. So it's not too surprising that a Florida woman attacked her boyfriend when he refused to stop playing a xylophone.

According to investigators, 43-year-old April Encarnacion was arrested on a domestic battery charge after police responded to a 911 call in Fort Walton Beach. Police say Encarnacion was in the kitchen with the male victim, who was playing a xylophone around 9:20 PM. When Encarnacion asked him to stop, the man refused. That was when Encarnacion "dumped a pot of cold cooking grease on him," according to a court filing. Encarnacion is being held in lieu of $3000 bond. Totally worth it.

‡‡Somewhat Useless Information‡‡
Before he introduced hypnotism in 1775, Franz Mesmer tried to heal patients by having them swallow a drink with tiny grains of iron and then moving magnets over their bodies to sway the magnetic currents. When he realized people were reacting to his performance, he stopped using magnets and relied on the effect of his own voice.
***
The first recorded use of hypnosis as anesthesia took place in the 19th century. Dr. James Esdaile, a Scottish surgeon working in India, used hypnosis successfully in hundreds of limb amputations.

***
People with the best imaginations are the easiest to hypnotize. Hypnosis researcher Theodore Sarbin calls hypnosis "believed-in imaginings."

‡‡Trivia Hive  Answers‡‡
2011
Before the U.S. launched an airstrike on a Syrian airfield in response to alleged gas attacks by the Syrian government on its citizens, the conflict that would claim more than 250,000 lives by early 2017 began as a series of protests. In March 2011, these demonstrations started in response to the arrest and torture of teens who wrote political graffiti. Following several years of sanctions and casualties, the conflict rages on, taking center stage in the news, social media and diplomacy. Sources: CNN, BBC

All ‘data’ info is from the internet sites and is usually checked with at least one other source, but I have learned that every site contains mistakes and sadly once the information is out there, many sites simply copy it and is therefore difficult to verify. Also for events occurring before the Gregorian calendar was adopted [1582] the dates may not be totally accurate.
