‡‡My Rambling Thoughts‡‡
Eye doc checked my eye. Healing, but may need a laser treatment to heal completely. I return in a couple of weeks to do it, if necessary. Meantime, hot packs once a day.

Morning shopping at Sam’s and grocery store was successful. Ran a little later than usual due to eye doc, so parking lots were more packed than I like.

Got an email that surprised me. I started at Univ of CO in 1967. At all the home games, Ralphie would run around the field with about 8 guys attempting to determine his path. Today the email from CU says that they are ready to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Ralphie’s first appearance. I didn’t realize that I was at the first game with Ralphie, I just assumed it had always happened. Cool.

Our cable company has made major changes to its HD lineup. Got up this morning to discover that I have now have to memorize all new channel numbers. I knew the change was coming, but didn’t realize how this would change my viewing. Took about 25 minutes to find the new channel lineup on my computer. Then I discovered that the little box that pops up when you change channels didn’t disappear like it used to. It just stayed there until I hit ‘exit’. When I got home from shopping I called the cable company. Had to go through a series of prompts and with my correct answers, sent a stronger signal to my little box. Of course that means for the next few hours I have no idea what is on from the channel guide, but the damn box now disappears after about 5 seconds. I’ll live with all that. I guess I was lucky because Mary called me because she had no TV this morning and had to deal with the cable company for 2 hours to get it working again.

THIS IS NOT NORMAL:
Republican leader of House says ‘government will grind to a halt until Comey testifies’. Interesting take on this mess.

Just as we got accustomed to daily tweets and lots of ‘alternative’ news stories from the WH, today there is nothing, nada, zilch. The President had several occasions to answer questions, but he just smiled and walked on.

‡‡Yep, It Really Happened‡‡
According to city officials in Nashville, Tennessee, two years ago, the TSC swinger's club bought an old church building and wanted to move the swingers club into it, but neighbors protested as the church building is located next to a Christian school and other churches.

Legislation was passed to keep the sex club out. So the owner then announced that he will use the building as a church that was open to members only.

But oddly enough, people began to notice that the 'church' was busiest late at night on Friday at Saturday. Oh, and only invited members could join the "services" for $40.

So undercover inspectors went to the church and paid the fee. There they witnessed consenting adults having sex with one another while other people watched them in the acts. The city's code inspectors noted in their report that there was sexual activity throughout the building.

The inspectors found that the church has been turned into a swingers club, complete with beds that had foot and hand rests. Some rooms had partial walls allowing for anyone to watch the sex acts.

However, the owners have now received a stop work order as the swingers club is in violation of its permit to operate as a church.

Pizza Hut
We know that a man has been to the moon, but did you know that Pizza Hut delivered a pizza to space in 2001? "Having recorded numerous 'firsts' on Earth, we also wanted to make history by becoming the first company in the world to deliver pizza to space," then Chief Marketing Officer of Pizza Hut Randy Gier explained. The creation and delivery was a collaboration between the popular pizza chain and Russian food scientists. The crispy crust was topped with sauce, ooey-gooey cheese and salami. Talk about an intergalactic pizza party! Source: Pizza Hut Press Release
