My Rambling Thoughts
Weatherman is saying the monsoon won’t return until mid-July…boo! We always need moisture.
Did some early running around, got my toenails clipped and getting ready for my trip to Barcelona.
So FBI says Hillary was careless and should have known better with the email thing…but no criminal charges. Sure don’t want Trump with his finger near the button, but this raises some questions about Hillary too. Not sure I want a President ‘who should have known better.’ November is going to be a tough call for me.

Weighs and Means
Riddles are little poems or phrases that pose a question that needs answering. Riddles frequently rhyme, but this is not a requirement.
In my physical manifestation, my figure is of a neutral hue.
As a calculation, one of me is almost certainly less than half of you.

On your face, I am motionless and mute.
To describe the cold, I am complete and absolute.

Of proximity, I am always of a close pitch.
For punishment, I taunt you even after I've put you in your ditch.

What am I?

Somewhat Useless Information
The U.S. isn't the only country that celebrates their independence day on July fourth. The Philippines declared their independence on July 4th 1946. Ironically, they declared their independence from the United States.
The American flag has gone through many alterations as the regions grew and even reached beyond its borders. The modern '50 star flag,' however, has an interesting story behind its creation.

High school student Robert G. Heft of Lancaster, Ohio was assigned to create a new 'national banner' for America that would recognize the statehood of Alaska and Hawaii. Heft simply added two extra stars to the flag to give it an even 50 and stitched his own design. His teacher only gave him a 'B-minus' for his effort, so he sent his project to President Dwight D. Eisenhower for consideration and a change of grade. Eisenhower chose his design personally and the new flag was officially adopted in 1960. His teacher then gave him an 'A' instead.

Trivia Hive  Answers
Currently, there are four countries in the U.K.- England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. However, Scotland is heavily considering saying bye, bye bye to the United Kingdom. With its surprising plans to exit from the EU, the U.K. has been getting heat from its former cliche. On June 29th, the European Union huffed at London that there are "no negotiations of any kind" on future trade relations until the U.K. officially triggers the E.U. treaty exit clause and they give back their half of the best friends locket. Scotland, also, showed up to the E.U. meeting begging them to let them stay in the club if they leave the United Kingdom. Whether or not they'll be hazed back in is still up in the air. Brain Teasers Answers
A stone.

As a measurement of weight, a stone is equal to 14 pounds, or about 6.35 grams.

In phrase, something might be described as "stone-faced", "stone cold", or only a "stone's throw" away.

A public stoning, which is already a cruel way to die, might seem even more imprudent when you consider its victims are laid to rest underneath a headSTONE.

The title is both a hint and a pun and so kills two birds with one stone.

All ‘data’ info is from the internet sites and is usually checked with at least one other source, but I have learned that every site contains mistakes and sadly once the information is out there, many sites simply copy it and is therefore difficult to verify. Also for events occurring before the Gregorian calendar was adopted [1582] the dates may not be totally accurate.
