My Rambling Thoughts
Good checkup and cleaning at the Dentist. The Series 7 Sonicare toothbrush is doing a great job.
Listening to NPR this morning, I learned something…again. They were interviewing a psychotherapist and asked if the guy in Orlando was mentally ill. She said that without interviewing him, she couldn’t say, but that hearing the news coverage he seemed to have planned and carried out the act…suggesting that he was not mentally ill, but a fanatic [a person filled with excessive and single-minded zeal, especially for an extreme religious or political cause.]. She talked about how fanatics are able to hold down jobs, go about their daily business, many times without alerting others. It becomes more easily identified when the discussion moves to their ‘cause’.  Interesting and informative.

2 jokes for the day
Two young girls were reading when one girl said to the other, "I'm never having kids."

"Why?" said the other.

And the girl replied, "Because I heard they take 9 months to download."

◘◘◘◘◘◘
My wife asked me to buy ORGANIC vegetables from the market. I went and looked around and couldn't find any. So I grabbed an old, tired looking employee and said, "These vegetables are for my wife. Have they been sprayed with any poisonous chemicals?"

The produce guy looked at me and said, "No. You'll have to do that yourself."

Somewhat Useless Information
Dietary fiber (roughage) is an essential nutrient required for proper digestion of foods, proper functioning of the digestive tract at large, and for helping you feel full. A deficiency of fiber can lead to constipation, hemorrhoids, and elevated levels of cholesterol and sugar in the blood. Conversely, an excess of fiber can lead to a bowel obstruction, diarrhea, or even dehydration. Individuals who increase their intake of fiber should also increase their intake of water.
***
Ten common, extremely high fiber foods include; Bran, Cauliflower & Broccoli, Cabbage, Berries, Leafy Greens, Celery, Squash, Beans, Mushrooms and Oranges!

Disclaimer: All opinions are mine…feel free to agree or disagree.
All ‘data’ info is from the internet sites and is usually checked with at least one other source, but I have learned that every site contains mistakes and sadly once the information is out there, many sites simply copy it and is therefore difficult to verify. Also for events occurring before the Gregorian calendar was adopted [1582] the dates may not be totally accurate.
