Today’s Thoughts

Looking like a great weekend weather-wise.

I was a day behind on yesterday’s post, I realized it was Saturday after I posted it. Oops.

AZ returns to 1864 for its Abortion law. In that year the age for consent of a marriage was 10 years old. I guess the Frontier pilot who told us set our watches back 20 years as we landed in Phx in 1977 was right.

Most countries are waiting with bated breath to see when Iran will retaliate against Israel over the bombing that killed its citizens.  I sure hope for the best for the world and that region.

Did you Know?

Native Cultures

New Mexico was named after the Aztec god Mertili while the state of Ohio comes from the Iroquois word "Oheo" which means "beautiful." There are many other state names with Native American origins as well - including Hawaii, Connecticut, Michigan, South and North Dakota, and Tennessee.
