My Rambling Thoughts
Saddened when I turned on the news and saw that there was an incident at the Notre Dame Cathedral today. Not that long ago I stood in the line to get inside. Surprised, when we were there the buses had to park several blocks from the entrance. Hope everyone is safe.

So I give up trying to guess what is the next thing out of the WH. I am tired of hearing one person on the staff say one thing, the current President saying the opposite, then everyone agreeing with the current President. Today it is his disgusting tweets. Now we are to believe these are the current President’s words as he speaks as the POTUS. Sickened.

Yep, It Really Happened
*----- Talk About Pissing Away Your Money -----*

Two burglars who tried to steal cash from a bank ATM, accidentally set their cash on fire, according to police in Washington. The Everett Fire Department responded to the Coastal Community Bank on the report of a fire alarm. A fire had started inside the business when someone used a cutting tool to access the ATM. Property damage has been estimated at over $35,000 for the burned cash, broken ATM and building repairs. Detectives identified the two suspects as Eli Steen and Jason Kovar. Video surveillance shows that after setting the cash on fire by using a blowtorch, one of the men attempted to extinguish the flames by urinating on the money. However, his efforts did not pay off, and they fled from the scene. Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward and Coastal Community Bank is offering $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspects.

Somewhat Useless Information
In Australia in the late 1940s, manic depression was the first mental illness to be successfully treated with lithium. In Scandinavia in the 1950s, Dr. Morgens Schou pursued the same course of treatment with beneficial results.
***
The first recorded case of dream-induced amnesia occurred in 2004. After a man dreamed that his son had been killed, he woke up screaming and lost all memory of the previous day.

***
In the 1600s, mental patients were a tourist attraction in London at Hospital of St. Mary. Anyone who paid a penny could observe and taunt the "lunatics" for their own amusement.

Trivia Hive  Answers
Tongue
Komodo dragons may not be able to breathe fire like their mythical counterparts, but they do have a fascinating feature in their sense of smell. Using their forked tongues, they sample the air for airborne molecules. When their tongues retreat into their mouths, chemical-analyzing organs help the dragons track prey. In fact, when the wind is right, these tongues can sense a meal as far as 2.5 miles away. If only my tongue was this talented so I could figure out where the smell of Thai street food is coming from. All ‘data’ info is from the internet sites and is usually checked with at least one other source, but I have learned that every site contains mistakes and sadly once the information is out there, many sites simply copy it and is therefore difficult to verify. Also for events occurring before the Gregorian calendar was adopted [1582] the dates may not be totally accurate.
