It’s a little cooler but still nice weather.
Even since I don’t change clocks for DST, the national channels on my
cable company do. It is a pain, but thankfully I have DVR so I can watch shows when
I want to.
Broncos beat the Texans. Yeah! Cards play the Cowboys tonight. Go Cards.
Last night 60 Minutes ran an interview with Trump. I felt the
interview was a little too cautious…especially from that show, but we did hear
Trump’s own words. Frightening.
Yesterday I went on line and was checking my purchases before the bill gets
paid on Nov. 12. On my Chase card I found that my dental crown was charged
twice, for the same amount when I got the temporary. This morning I called the
dentist and their records showed only one charge for that procedure. I called
the bank. It took 4 calls, and instead of waiting for 10 minutes, I had them
call me back. I had to add a phone number to my phone so I could get the call
without it automatically going to voice mail. When they called, I had to go
through at least seven questions before a human, who was a 2nd language
learner, agreed there were two charges. It takes up to 2 days to fix it. Then I
will get a letter, telling me it is resolved. According to the guy, the charge
will not be part of my payment on the 12th, but if the double charge
is determined to be correct, it will show up again on my next statement. So
much for how great technology really is.
