A nice spring day. No complaints.
I talked to Mary this morning. She and Mike are doing well in Phoenix.
Things for them are going well. They are coming to Flag tomorrow for a day
trip. I can’t do lunch this time as I have a dental appointment. Then I had a
nice talk with my brother in Spain. His trip is sensational. It will be winding
down soon as he heads to Chicago for Laura’s grandmother’s 100th
birthday later this month. Very cool.
Throughout my life I have had things I like and thing I do not like. I
grew up being told, ‘you just have to take one bite’ if I didn’t like
something. As an adult I try to give everything a chance. If I like it, great…if
I don’t, I don’t have to keep doing it. That’s
what is bothering me about the current administration. If they like something,
then everyone has to like it. If they don’t like something, then it must be
abolished. It doesn’t seem to matter what the individual feels or believes, if
it doesn’t meet the administrations desires. This is not the way I was raised
and I turned out just fine.
