Today’s Thoughts

It is nice to have a working keyboard. I am also recovering slowly from this crazy bronchitis.

Even without a keyboard, I was able to keep up with Social Media. I also watched way too much news on the TV.  Our politics is a dumpster fire. Everyone in politics just keeps throwing more and more on the fire. There is way too much money in politics. Citizen’s United has changed our system that few if any anticipated. Any kind of gerrymandering is ruining our voting system. Each state should have an independent committee drawing the boundaries for every election district. If we still believe that every vote counts, show it by having districts that represent the people who live there.

 Science Fact of the Day

Orangutans are the largest arboreal mammals on Earth. Males typically weigh between 170 and 220 pounds while females weigh between 80 and 120 pounds. Orangutans are arboreal, meaning that they spend most of their lives in trees, although they do sometimes descend to the ground.
