Today’s Thoughts
Chilly morning warming up nicely.
This
morning I was sending out Thanksgiving Cards to friends and family on Jaquie
Lawson website. I’ve been using it for years, ever since Ellie introduced it to
me. Lately I have had numerous problems to log on. After a couple of tries, I
logged in. Then, I picked the card, filled in the email addresses to many and
clicked send. It said this card is no longer available. I shut down my computer
and started over. After a couple more tries, I got the same card sent out.
Crazy experience.
I
attended my artist friend’s service yesterday. It was a grave side service,
very simple with nice Native music and only lasted about 30 minutes. Flag has a
small cemetery and parking is horrific. There were about 300 people at the
grave site. It was nice to some friends. One in particular was a retired TCBS
librarian. She and her late husband had helped raise the 2 brothers in Tuba.
She retired decades ago and now must be close to 100 years old. She is still
spry, and we had a nice conversation after the service.
A
possible terrorist vehicle exploded near a checkpoint at the US Canada border
(Rainbow Bridge @ Niagara Falls). Two in the vehicle died and several workers
at the checkpoint were injured. Frightening for sure.

Those
giant trucks that typically can't drive and hog the road? In the south, they're
known as 18-wheelers, while in the north they're known
as tractor-trailers.
