Today’s Thoughts
Cold
night, chilly day.
The
news media is doing a lot of coverage of the hostage releases from Hamas.
Rightly so. However, there is very little coverage of the Palestinians being
released by Israel. Many of those Palestinians have been in Israeli prisons for
many months with no charges ever filed or if charges were filed, it was only
for minor charges. Neither Hama nor Israel is innocent in this mess.
Looking
forward to a good game with the Broncos today against the Browns this
afternoon.
Our
Great Decisions group keeps getting smaller. We may disband. I’ve been in the
group since I retired when the group was about 15 with various backgrounds,
ages, and political views. Now I am the youngest and we are all on the liberal
side of views. I’m the youngest still. Time will tell.

“First of all, the word superstar really turns me off — and
I’ll tell you why. The word “star” man, it’s an illusion. it’s something what
the public calls you. You should look upon oneself as an actor, man. I mean you
would be very pleased if somebody said (punches his fist into his open hand)
“man, you are a super actor!” it is much better than, you know, superstar.”
