My Rambling Thoughts
I called the landlord at 8:30 about my water leak. He said he’d send a plumber. By 9:45 the plumber had come and gone, fixing the issue. Something about the intake valve leaking. All is now good. No damage. Guess I better use that bathroom more often.

Watching Turkey closely after the recent bombing and our discussion of the Kurds. Such a tragedy. So much to learn

The Virtues of Punctuality

My wife has been stressing the importance of punctuality to me recently. I made a point of picking her up early at the bridge club for the first time today.

You should have seen the shocked looks of the faces of the ladies when they found out I’m alive. Apparently my wife has been referring to me as her late husband.

Yep, It Really Happened
*-- Canadian Gunman was Really Terminator Cutout --*

Police in Canada shared that an alert about a man with a gun turned out to be a case of mistaken identity. Toronto police tweeted an update about a man with a gun, as they reported police were on the scene with no injuries. The post was updated about eight minutes later as police reported that the "man" was actually a cardboard cutout of Arnold Schwarzenegger's character from Terminator. "Grange Ave and Augusta Ave police on scene have located a Terminator cutout holding a gun," they wrote. Police poked some fun at the situation by ending the post with the hashtag #IllBeBack.

The difference between apple juice and apple cider is that apple juice is the juice of the fruit only, and apple cider is the whole apple-skins, seeds, and all- which gives it the fuller body and deeper color. The juice is pasteurized and the cider is not.

All ‘data’ info is from the internet sites and is usually checked with at least one other source, but I have learned that every site contains mistakes and sadly once the information is out there, many sites simply copy it and is therefore difficult to verify.
