My Rambling Thoughts
Woke up to cloudy sky, light snow falling. By 8a the snow had stopped and the sky was a nice robin egg blue…and the strong winds started. Birds knew about this quick storm as I filled my bird feeders Friday morning and they were empty this morning. So I stood in the light snow fall to refill them.
Yesterday I stopped by a local drive thru car wash to get the bugs and road dirt from my trip to Denver off the car. It had orange cones in front of the drive thru part and a guy waved me away. Car not dirty enough for a full wash and I was not in the mood to get wet at the hand held one…so the vehicle is still dirty.
Very disappointed when I turned on CNN last night to see the mess in Chicago at the soon cancelled Trump rally. I watched for a while, then turned to Faux to see their take. Thankfully this morning, NPR put it all into perspective for me. I am not a Trump fan. No matter what happened in Chicago, and again this morning in Cleveland, it should not be part of the American election process. Due to the crazy rhetoric I keep hearing, this sadly, may only be the beginning of a very violent process.

…Why the Chicken Crossed The Road…
OPRAH: Well, I understand that the chicken is having problems, which is why he wants to cross the road so badly.  So instead of having the chicken learn from his mistakes and take falls, which is a part of life, I'm going to give this chicken a NEW CAR so that he can just drive across the road and not live his life like the rest of the chickens.

…Instagram Photo of the Day…

natgeotravelPhoto by @hellokrisdavidson // Conchero dancers fill the Jardin Principal, dressed in pre-Hispanic outfits to celebrate El Señor de La Conquista (The Lord of the Conquest) in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. This annual festival takes place on the first Thursday and Friday of March in honor of "Christ of the Conquest," a highly revered statue made out of corn stalks and orchid bulbs. It now holds a place of honor in the Parroquia (cathedral) in San Miguel de Allende. #Mexico

2 jokes for the day
How many telemarketers does it take to change a lightbulb?

One, but they have to do it while you're eating dinner!

A man with a gun is robbing a bank. He asks one of the bank customers if he saw him rob the bank. The guy says he did. The robber then shoots him in the head killing him immediately. The robber then asks a couple nearest to him the same thing. The husband says that he didn't but his wife did.

Yep, It Really Happened
*---- Hey Honey, Check Out How Cool I Am! ----*
A man fatally shot himself while taking selfies with his girlfriend and a gun, police in Washington said. Concrete police said that the 43-year-old man died on Sunday, after shooting himself in the face in his own home. The gun went off and shot the man in the face while he and his girlfriend were taking photos of themselves. The girlfriend, who was not identified, told investigators that they loaded and unloaded the gun several times during the day. The last time however, a bullet apparently remained in the gun, and the man, who was not identified, shot himself in the face. So far, no charges have been filed as police believe that the shooting was an accident.

Somewhat Useless Information
Rainbow Bagels…
1. They come from The Bagel Store in Brooklyn, NY.

2. The rainbow bagel actually tastes like a normal plain bagel, but the toppings are where things get really funky.

3. You can see in the video below the process of how they are made:

4. Bagel Store owner Scot Rossillo has been making these beauties for 20 years now, but they have only recently become a viral sensation thanks, in part, to the above video from Insider Food.

5. Though it may taste like a plain bagel, a Rainbow Bagel requires double the work.

6. The Bagel Store’s process involves dyeing the dough with neon food coloring, separating the various colors in different piles, layering the colors on top of each other, and then rolling them into one multicolored string.

7. Priced at $3.95, the bagel is also typically eaten with funfetti cream cheese and sprinkles.

Disclaimer: All opinions are mine…feel free to agree or disagree.
All ‘data’ info is from the internet sites and is usually checked with at least one other source, but I have learned that every site contains mistakes and sadly once the information is out there, many sites simply copy it and is therefore difficult to verify. Also for events occurring before the Gregorian calendar was adopted [1582] the dates may not be totally accurate.
