My Rambling Thoughts
Boo, Yeah, Boo. So the Geek Squad showed up right on time…they even called twice, once last night to confirm, and once an hour before they arrived. It turns out the remote control has a button called input. When one sets up the sound bar it automatically knows what you did. But, and this is a big but, if you push the Input button it changes the input. The two guys who showed up say that it is manufacturer goof, since the input button and the power button look the same. Anyway, after about 3 minutes the sound bar was working fine. Happy that it works. It would seem to me that the local Geek Squad should have been aware of this issue and talked me through it over the phone. So Boo to the phone guy for not helping me. Yeah, that it works now. Boo that is cost me $100 to learn this when one minute on the phone could have fixed it.

Tomorrow our retirement group is heading to Cameron for our mutton and fry bread fix. Haven’t been there in quite a while. Thus, no post tomorrow.

…Instagram Photo of the Day…

Photography by @ (Jim Richardson). These stones were put up by the local folk sometime around 2900 BC. That's before Stonehenge! Without doubt there were spiritual structures here before the stones. Before that, this place had been sacred for a very long time.
The stones themselves are older still. The imagination boggles when trying to comprehend 3.5 billion years. But you can see time wrapped into their many folds, as the rock was thrust deep into the earth again and again, wrapping over itself in pleats of antiquity. The stone is called Lewesian gneiss and it is pretty much the oldest stone on the face of planet.

2 jokes for the day
An older gentleman had an appointment to see the urologist who shared an office with several other doctors. The waiting room was filled with patients. As he approached the receptionist desk he noticed that the receptionist was a large unfriendly woman who more resembled a Sumo wrestler. He gave her his name. In a very loud voice, the receptionist said, "YES, I HAVE YOUR NAME HERE; YOU WANT TO SEE THE DOCTOR ABOUT IMPOTENCE, RIGHT?"

All the patients in the waiting room snapped their heads around to look at the very embarrassed man. He recovered quickly, and in an equally loud voice replied, "NO, I'VE COME TO INQUIRE ABOUT A SEX CHANGE OPERATION, BUT I DON'T WANT THE SAME DOCTOR THAT DID YOURS."

Moral of the story... DON'T MESS WITH OLD FOLKS!

A teacher asks her students what religious objects they have in their homes.

One boy answers, "We have a picture of a woman with a halo holding a baby and every day my mother kneels in front of it."

The next little boy says, "We have a brass statue of a man seated with crossed legs and a Chinese face, and every day my parents burn an incense stick before it."

Then a third boy pipes up, "In the bathroom we have a flat, square box with numbers on it. Every day my mother stands on it first thing in the morning and screams, 'OH MY GOD!!!'"

Yep, It Really Happened
*---- Hey Honey, Check Out How Cool I Am! ----*
A man fatally shot himself while taking selfies with his girlfriend and a gun, police in Washington said. Concrete police said that the 43-year-old man died on Sunday, after shooting himself in the face in his own home. The gun went off and shot the man in the face while he and his girlfriend were taking photos of themselves. The girlfriend, who was not identified, told investigators that they loaded and unloaded the gun several times during the day. The last time however, a bullet apparently remained in the gun, and the man, who was not identified, shot himself in the face. So far, no charges have been filed as police believe that the shooting was an accident.

All ‘data’ info is from the internet sites and is usually checked with at least one other source, but I have learned that every site contains mistakes and sadly once the information is out there, many sites simply copy it and is therefore difficult to verify.
