‡‡My Rambling Thoughts‡‡
Great lunch with Mary as Cheryl is staying in Williams today. Mary just got back from 2+weeks in Ireland/Scotland. She visited many of the places I had been. Nice to see pics that remind me of my trip.

Listening to NPR on the way back from lunch I heard of the shooting in Paris. Still not sure what actually happened, but I was in that very area last year. I do remember that there were lots of Police throughout Paris. Sad to hear they have had another attack.

‡‡Yep, It Really Happened‡‡
A man who was in the mood for some fried chicken, broke into a woman's home where he stole food and alcoholic beverages, according to police in Florida.

Police said that they have arrested 34-year-old Ronald Gregory Wesly, after being caught by the homeowner frying chicken and drinking vodka in her kitchen.

According the police investigation, after homeowner Samantha O'Neal went to work, Wesly broke into her home, opened the woman's fridge and took out chicken. He then used a frying pan to make himself fired chicken.

When O'Neal came home around 9:00 p.m., she found Wesly frying chicken and drinking vodka. O'Neal told police that she picked him up and threw him out of her home.

She then called the police, who found Wesly nearby and arrested him.

Wesly has been charged with one count each of resisting an officer, burglary and petty theft.

‡‡Somewhat Useless Information‡‡
The Second City opened its doors on a cold December night in 1959 in Chicago's Old Town neighborhood. The first Second City revue show premiered at 1842 North Wells Street. The theater instantly became a hot spot for locals and within a few short years a must-see for tourists.
***
In 1961, not only did Del Close join The Second City but the theater also sent a cast to Broadway with the musical revue, From the Second City, directed by Paul Sills, which earned a Tony nomination for ensemble member Severn Darden. The Second City also released its first comedy album in 1961.
***
Success demanded a bigger home, so in 1967 The Second City removed the Louis Sullivan arches from its facade and ventured a few blocks South to the Piper's Alley building, a former bakery that has been its home ever since.

‡‡How our states were named‡‡
West Virginia
West Virginia, formed from 39 Virginia counties whose residents voted to form a new state rather than join the Confederacy, was named after the same queen as the state it split from, though the new state was originally to be called Kanawha, Iroquoian dialects meaning "water way" or "canoe way".

With the release of the iPad Air 2 In October 2014, Apple began selling the sixth generation of its signature tablet. While the popular tablets first made their debut in 2010, the core concept dates all the way back to the Newton MessagePad 100, Apple's first "tablet" released in 1993. The Newton failed to take off, and it would be more than a decade before Apple would again venture into making a tablet. Source: Wired, New Atlas

All ‘data’ info is from the internet sites and is usually checked with at least one other source, but I have learned that every site contains mistakes and sadly once the information is out there, many sites simply copy it and is therefore difficult to verify. Also for events occurring before the Gregorian calendar was adopted [1582] the dates may not be totally accurate.
