Today’s Thoughts
It
is snowing on and off today. About ½” this morning when I awoke.
I
watched part of the DeSantis/Newsom ‘debate’ on Fox with moderator Hannity. The
moderator put up lots of graphics making Florida look better than California.
Not a surprise. I wanted to see their varying views on important issues. I didn’t
get that. I did get a lot of interruptions, lots of talking over each other.
Certainly not the best use of my time.
The
vote of 311-114 has ousted Santos…historical and the right thing to do.

Schools update: the person who posted the social media item has been found and
arrested. Probably all the public will hear.
Justice
O’Conner has passed at 93. She was from AZ and the first female Justice on the
Supreme Court. She leaves a great legacy.

Famous Natives to
Know…
John Herrington
Astronaut, engineer, and US Naval
Aviator John Herrington made
history in 2002 when he became the first Native American to fly into space. To
honor the historic moment, he brought six eagle feathers, a braid of sweet
grass, two arrowheads, and the Chickasaw nation’s flag along for the ride. He
proudly paraded them on a spacewalk to the International Space Station.
