Today’s Thoughts

The 2’-4” expected snow was only a dusting. Maybe more coming later today.

Henry Kissinger passes at 100. He was Sec of State for Richard Nixon, and then stayed active in global policies until his death. He led a very complicated diplomacy life. He will be remembered more for his good deeds than his controversial deeds.

The 4 public schools and Tuba Boarding School posted last night that all schools would be closed Nov. 30 due to social media threats. No further information. Weird for sure. While I was having lunch with Andy and Faith, a mutual friend called Andy. He worked at GreyHills Academy HS (BIE-gramt) in Tuba. They did not close. His information said a female posted on social media that she was going to shoot up the Boarding school and then move to the Public School. Navajo Police have identified her but have not been able to contact her, yet. This story is full of intrigue now.

Today’s Thoughts

Chilly night and warming up nicely.

I was out at Sam’s Club and surprised to find King Size 100% cotton high thread count sheets. Tradition continues.

The weather guy sez we may get some snow today. Nothing yet, it is way to warm.

Almost all of my Thanksgiving cards have been read and almost all have sent a nice message.

Today’s Thoughts

Cold morning and is warming up nicely.

One family tradition is to buy useful Christmas gifts. My brother and I always got underwear and socks along with some fun gifts. When my brother got married, a set of good sheets was always given. He likes 100% cotton with high (600+ thread count). I can’t find any this year that are less than $150. Guess I’ll break the tradition.

Roslyn Carter’s memorial was very nice.

The continued release of the hostages in Gaza and the prisoners in Israel continues with horrific stories of what they went through in both Gaza and Israel. A very sad reminder that humans are not always empathetic or humane.
