My Rambling Thoughts
Yet another very windy day. Not that exciting to be outside. After noon I could finally open windows and doors. Nice.

Nice to see Gabby Giffords christen a new ship named after her. She is the AZ Representative who was shot by a crazy man at a meet and greet here in AZ. She does amazing things for gun safety laws. I saw an interesting documentary about the difference between ‘gun safety’ and ‘gun control’. Did not realize that every other day a child is accidently killed by a gun in the US. I got a .22 from my grandfather when I was 12 or 13. I was taught all the safety stuff and will always remember the target practice my dad, grandfather, and I did. The gun was prominently displayed in our ‘game room’…a room with couches, a TV, and a few tables for playing games. Not a room for game trophies. I still don’t know where my dad kept the bolt for that gun or where the bullets were kept. I joined Boy Scouts after Cub Scouts and took several fire arm courses through those years. I learned to respect guns. Sad that so many did not and still do not have that opportunity. Gun safety is very important.

Yep, It Really Happened
*------------- Porn Star Gone Wild -------------*

A porn actress is facing a domestic battery charge after allegedly punching her boyfriend in the face during a post-coital quarrel. According to investigators, Lauren Kaye Scott struck the victim Saturday in his Pinellas Park home. The man suffered a "swollen lip with a cut" during the confrontation, a police officer stated. As detailed in an arrest affidavit, the 23-year-old Scott "would not get off the phone" after having sex with her boyfriend, who asked Scott to leave the residence. Scott, cops say, "became upset" and struck her boyfriend of six months in the face. Scott was arrested on a misdemeanor domestic battery charge and booked into the county jail. As noted on the arrest affidavit, Scott identified her employer as "porn industry." She has stared in such videos as 'Slut Puppies 9,' 'Anal Buffet 10,' and 'Milk Maids.' In a handwritten motion Scott asked a judge for permission to travel to Los Angeles, where she reported that she lives with her husband, who is probably glad his wife has a boyfriend to take her aggression out on.

Somewhat Useless Information
In an average lifetime, people spend approximately 2,100 days (almost 6 years) dreaming. Everyone dreams every night, though some of us can't remember our dreams.
***
Developmental psychologists say that toddlers never dream about themselves. Children are not believed to appear in their own dreams until a developmental stage that occurs when they are three or four years old and realize they are separate from other people.

***
What is the purpose of dreams? Some experts speculate that the primitive part of the brain is overloaded during the day and cannot process all of our experiences. Dreaming gives us a way to sort through our memories and eliminate the ones that aren't useful for our growth.

Walmart
Good news for Walmart employees who also serve in the U.S. military! The retail giant recently announced that its part- and full-time workers who must leave their jobs to serve on a voluntary or involuntary basis will not receive a pay cut. If a military salary is less than what an employee made at Walmart, the company will cover the difference. Not bad for a company known for rolling back prices! Source: CNN Money
