❆❆My Rambling Thoughts❆❆
We are certainly not experiencing the winter weather we used to have. Glad I am not in CO or some of the other parts of the country that have been in a deep freeze. Looking at the pics of thermometers and snow and icicles from CO makes me enjoy our cool temps.

Fixed a few pair of pants this morning that needed help with their cuffs. My mom would buy us new pants and automatically measure them on us and put on ‘correct’ cuffs. Too bad I didn’t pay that much attention to her phenomenon skills.

I tried being a tailor, but wasn't suited for it...

Mainly because it was a sew-sew job.

The lawyer was cross-examining a witness. “Isn’t it true,“ he began, “that you were given $5000.00 to throw this case?”

The witness did not answer. Instead, he just stared out the window as though he hadn’t heard the question. The attorney repeated himself, again getting the same reaction, the same no response. Finally, the judge spoke to the witness, “Please answer the question.”

“Oh,” said the startled witness, “I'm sorry your honor. I thought he was talking to you.”

❆❆Yep, It Really Happened❆❆
*-- Naked Man Accused of Robbing Pizza Store --*

What do you know? Another story about a crazy naked person. Authorities have arrested a man who they say burglarized a pizza shop in the nude earlier this month. Baltimore County police said in a statement that 23-year-old Jonathan K. Newman has been charged with second-degree burglary following the break-in into Slice Pizza. Police say Newman's pants ripped off as he entered the store from a roof vent. Video footage shows the suspect then took off his shirt to cover his face. The store owner told local news that there was no money in the cash register, but the suspect still caused thousands of dollars in damage to the store.

❆❆Brain Teasers Answers❆❆
He was taking Darling to Mauna Kea in Hawaii. Mauna Kea (or "White Mountain") has the remnants of glacial terrane from the last global ice age on its summit, and snow in the winter. From base to summit, at over nine kilometers, the volcano Mauna Kea is the world's tallest mountain. Most of Mauna Kea happens to be below water, and its summit is only a couple of hours from a beach. Mt. Everest is the highest but not the tallest because it stands on the high Tibetan plateau, and also there are no ocean beaches near by the mountain.

❆❆Trivia Hive  Answers❆❆
The name "dachshund" is German, translating as "badger dog" or "badger hound." The shape and size of the breed makes sense for this purpose, as the dogs could often follow badgers into their holes and continue the pursuit underground. This made their short, long stature ideal for the role. Source: Merriam Webster

All ‘data’ info is from the internet sites and is usually checked with at least one other source, but I have learned that every site contains mistakes and sadly once the information is out there, many sites simply copy it and is therefore difficult to verify. Also for events occurring before the Gregorian calendar was adopted [1582] the dates may not be totally accurate.
