My Rambling Thoughts
Did some shopping to get ready for Turkey Day. Tomorrow will be cleaning day and a little baking. Ready now. Not sure who will be dropping by throughout the day, but will be ready for whatever.

Marked my calendar with a big smile today. Listening to the news it sounds like our President-elect is pulling back some of his idiotic campaign rhetoric. Sounds like he won’t be prosecuting Hillary, that climate change may be somewhat human caused, and that the White Supremacists should stop the rhetoric. I hope tomorrow I can add more to this list and that the list continues to grow. Sure would be nice if he just pulls way way back from all his campaign rhetoric. I am fully aware that he could just as easily reject what he said today. THIS IS NOT NORMAL!

2. (More superior) (delayed) than (not at all).

3. (Sublime) (mental abilities) (contemplate) (similarly).

“Contronym”—word that is its own antonym
Dust, along with the next two words, is a noun turned into a verb meaning either to add or to remove the thing in question. Only the context will tell you which it is. When you dust are you applying dust or removing it? It depends whether you’re dusting the crops or the furniture.

I got my first full-time job, but I could have sworn I was making more money in college while working for my parents as their daughter.
↨↨↨↨
Two girlfriends were talking to each other about relationships. "I put an ad in one of those singles websites looking for a boyfriend."

"What kind of guy did you say you were looking for?"

"I wanted an ambitious guy who likes to dig in to get the job done and is really down to earth. I think I found him."

"So what does he do?"

"He's a grave digger."

Somewhat Useless Information
The first TV dinner was Thanksgiving leftovers.
<>
The first Swanson frozen TV dinner (which sold for a mere 98 cents) was produced in the United States and consisted of a Thanksgiving meal of turkey, cornbread stuffing, frozen peas and sweet potatoes packaged in a tray like those used for airline meals. Retired Swanson executive Gerry Thomas said he came up with the idea after the company found itself with a huge surplus of frozen turkeys because of poor Thanksgiving sales.
<>
The average person consumes 4500 calories on Thanksgiving day--enough to gain 1.3 pounds
<>
A 160-pound person would have to run at a steady pace for six hours, swim for seven and a half hours or walk 45 miles to burn off a 4,500-calorie Thanksgiving day food-fest.

Disclaimer: All opinions are mine…feel free to agree or disagree.
All ‘data’ info is from the internet sites and is usually checked with at least one other source, but I have learned that every site contains mistakes and sadly once the information is out there, many sites simply copy it and is therefore difficult to verify. Also for events occurring before the Gregorian calendar was adopted [1582] the dates may not be totally accurate.
