Got a call from my old boss and had lunch with him and his wife. Nice way
to start off the new year. They spent the holiday in St. Thomas and had some
great stories. While there we ran into his old secretary and her grandkids…it’s
the 1st of the month, so kids always show up to spend Grandma’s
money. Nice to see her. Haven’t seen her in decades, but she acted like we were
old friends. Felt good.
We are having more rain/snow/rain today. Really, very strange weather
for January. But as we all know, global warming is a myth. If it just snowed,
like the olden days, we would have about a foot plus of snow on the ground from
just the last few days...

95.0% got this right on the internet machine
The iconic final battle with King Kong is so memorable that the Empire
State Building turned down its lights to salute actress Fay Wray after her
death in 2004. Kong's size is actually a few feet larger in the New York scenes
than earlier in the movie. This was done to keep him in proportion to the giant
buildings of the city. Like many classic movies, it's been remade multiple
times, with "Kong: Skull Island" debuting in 2017. Long live the
