My Rambling Thoughts
Early
morning check with eye doc. All good.
Another
very warm day, but there is a nice breeze off Mt. Elden, making it quite nice.
I
have a very hard time understanding how so many Americans can back Trump. Even
his party leaders are condemning him for his judge remarks. Yet, his supporters
get air time on CNN to say he was speaking as a litigant, not a Presidential
candidate. Doesn’t matter to me. He is very scary. I recall a time when I was
fairly young. McCarthyism was rampant. My Godparents were great people, but a
little quirky. There was one visit where my parents wondered, incorrectly, it
they were communist sympathizers. I remember an adult conversation on the way
to their house about listening for undertones to the conversation. I didn’t get
what they were talking about at the time, but years later, asked about it and
basically, they knew they weren’t, but just wanted to make sure. When an
American citizen can be condemned for having ‘Mexican Heritage’ or for ‘being
Muslim’, we are headed down the same road.

a trip to Central Kenya where they documented the world’s last three northern
white rhinos — two of which are pictured here. “Pre-1960, there were over 2,000
in Central and East Africa, south of the Sahara,” James says. “And at the
moment, there are three left in one location.” While the future of the northern
white rhino looks grim, James isn’t losing hope. “We’re trying to educate

signals." For women, the most common is the hair flip.

According to scientists Judy Dutton, women who get the most attention from men
send out 35 flirtatious signals per hour. While that seems to be a lot, signals
can range from tilting the head to one side to stroking the arm.

The most common mistake people make while flirting according to the Social
Issues Research Centre is maintaining too much eye contact. A nonromantic
glance lasts only 1.18 seconds and a flirtatious gaze lasts 2.3 seconds.
Anything longer is uncomfortable.
