My Rambling Thoughts
Cloudy, but nice Sunday. Got to watch my Sunday morning news programs.

On the election, I’m now more confused than I was yesterday. Reading the local paper, they had a big long article on the spending of our County Supervisors. Sure is a lot of politics and doublespeak when learning about how they spend the money allocated to them. Geographically we are a huge county…18,661 sq. miles(7,142 sq miles are on Indian Reservations (Navajo, Hopi, Hualapai, Havasupai, Kaibab) …2nd largest area of US counties and only 135,000 meaning 6 people per sq mile. Even though we don’t have a lot of people, funding certainly is difficult to understand.

Made my shuttle reservations for my trip to Chicago. Yes I get a non-stop flight which is exciting, but the shuttle will pick me up at 2:45am. Whoopee!

Brain Teasers
(answers at the end of post)
Drugging
Science brain teasers require understanding of the physical or biological world and the laws that govern it.

Mr. Jones filed a lawsuit against the company he worked for. He claimed that the company he worked for was drugging him to make him a better worker. He claimed that the coffee the company provided contained a drug called Trimethylxanthine. Trimethylxanthine is an addictive drug that increases alertness, improves concentration, and gives you a euphoric feeling. It operates using the same mechanisms that amphetamines, cocaine, and heroin use to stimulate the brain only to a lesser degree. When the coffee was tested it was found that it did contain large amounts of Trimethylxanthine. But, Mr. Jones did not win his lawsuit. Why?

The wife, whose husband has a collection of guitars, was before the judge after smashing every single one of them.

The judge ask s, "First offender?"

She replied, "No, your honor. First a Gibson, second a Fender."

After dying in a car crash, three friends find themselves at an orientation to enter heaven. Each one was asked, "When you are in your casket, what would you like to hear your friends and family saying about you?"

Sean says, "I would like to hear them say I was a great doctor and a great family man."

Karl says, "I would like to hear them say I was a wonderful husband and an excellent teacher who made a difference in children's lives."

Juan says, "I would like to hear them say, 'Look! He's moving!'"

Yep, It Really Happened
*------------------ Goat Yoga ------------------*
An Arizona yoga instructor said her classes have regularly sold out thanks to her unique twist on the fitness routine -- "Goat Yoga" assisted by actual live goats. April Gould, 38, a self-proclaimed "Goat Whisperer" and a former contestant on NBC's American Ninja Warrior, said she didn't expect when she started offering the classes that she and business partner Sarah Williams would be leading sold-out crowds of 60 people in yoga poses with help from the eight goats on her farm near Gilbert. "I kind of thought it was going to be a fun, trendy, kind of goofy thing, but I didn't expect to have this kind of response," Gould told the Arizona Republic. "I love the people that come. I feel like it's just a big party and everyone leaves so happy." The goats walk among the students as they practice their yoga poses and occasionally even climb on top of yogis when their torsos are flat. Gould said the hour-long classes cost students $10.

All ‘data’ info is from the internet sites and is usually checked with at least one other source, but I have learned that every site contains mistakes and sadly once the information is out there, many sites simply copy it and is therefore difficult to verify. Also for events occurring before the Gregorian calendar was adopted [1582] the dates may not be totally accurate.
