My Rambling Thoughts
Last night’s discussion went very well. I believe we all understand the ISIS/ISIL better than we did. Glad that there was lots of discussion about what is going on over there. We could have gone on much longer. Always a good sign.

The ‘accidental’ US bombing in Eastern Syria just hours before the discussion added to the discussion…and the US role in ending ISIS.

Beautiful day here…nice to read the Sunday paper on the deck. And as an added bonus, the AZ Republic was also delivered to my home today. It was right on my front porch, and the units on either side don’t subscribe to any home delivery newspapers.  So I had lots to read this morning.

The Frugal Man
The frugal man walked into the house panting and almost completely exhausted. “What happened, Honey?” asked his wife.

“It’s a great new idea I have,” he gasped. “I ran all the way home behind the bus and saved $1.50 cents.”

“That wasn’t too smart,” replied his wife. “Why didn’t you run behind a taxi and save ten dollars?”

*----- This Is What You Call a Sore Loser -----*
A man was arrested on a charge of stalking after allegedly mailing dead animals to a teacher who was hired instead of the suspect, according to police in Indiana. French Lick police said that they have arrested 40-year-old Travis Tarrants, after being accused of harassing the new teacher and his fiancée. Tarrants was charged with stalking, intimidation and criminal mischief. According to the police investigation, Tarrants applied for a teaching job at the Springs Valley School Corporation. His application was rejected, and school officials hired another man. Tarrants immediately began harassing the new teacher and his fiancée. He mailed the couple multiple dead animals, including skunks and raccoons. Tarrants then sent multiple letters to the school, claiming that the new teacher was having sex with a 15-year-old girl. He then left a voicemail on the couple's phone, threatening to kill the fiancée and her baby.

All ‘data’ info is from the internet sites and is usually checked with at least one other source, but I have learned that every site contains mistakes and sadly once the information is out there, many sites simply copy it and is therefore difficult to verify. Also for events occurring before the Gregorian calendar was adopted [1582] the dates may not be totally accurate.
