My Rambling Thoughts
A tad windy for my taste but still a beautiful spring day. Red Flag warning always puts us a little on edge.
Numbers keep falling in my blood draws, that is a good thing. See the hematologist on Monday…more news then.
Quiet weekend ahead…looking forward to some time on the deck.
The guy who sets up our trips for Tumlare is on a trip with his family. They are on a Disney cruise to the Bahamas. Today the ship saved 3 Cuban refugees who were on a capsized boat in the ocean. Very cool, no word on where these survivors will be dropped off.

Brain Teasers
(answers at the end of post)
High Above
Riddles are little poems or phrases that pose a question that needs answering. Riddles frequently rhyme, but this is not a requirement.
High above the lowly earth, and yet I flourish for all I'm worth.
I hang between the earth and sky, green or brown as the seasons pass by.
As around me all the birds do fly, and just before winter, away go I.
Tell me true, what am I?

2 jokes for the day
My boss told me yesterday, “Ken, you shouldn't dress for the job you have, dress for the job you want.”

But when I turned up at the office today in Ghostbuster's clothing, she said I was fired.

A social worker from Ohio who was recently transferred to the mountains of North Georgia, was on the first tour of his new territory when he came upon the tiniest cabin he had ever seen in his life. Intrigued, he went up and knocked on the door.

"Anybody home?" he asked. "Yep," came a kid's voice through the door.

"Is your father there?" asked the social worker.

"Pa? Nope, he left before Ma came in," said the kid.

"Well, is your mother there?" persisted the social worker.

"'Ma? Nope, she left just before I got here," said the kid.

"But what," protested the social worker, "are you never together as a family?"

''Sure, but not here," said the kid through the door. "This is the outhouse."

If your dog's feet smell like corn chips, you're not alone. The term 'Frito Feet' was coined to describe the scent.

The most shoplifted food item in the U.S. is candy. In Europe, it's cheese.

Disclaimer: All opinions are mine…feel free to agree or disagree.
All ‘data’ info is from the internet sites and is usually checked with at least one other source, but I have learned that every site contains mistakes and sadly once the information is out there, many sites simply copy it and is therefore difficult to verify. Also for events occurring before the Gregorian calendar was adopted [1582] the dates may not be totally accurate.
